World War II Era

We, as a nation, are rapidly losing the generation that triumphed over the adversities faced during World War II and the years immediately following. I think it would be very interesting to learn just what these strong and proud people did to improvise, make do, and find alternative ways of doing things. If you still have parents, aunts, uncles, and/or friends who lived through this time as adults, please ask them to share their stories here on The Memory Boards.
